Pacing in Circles

A sculpture made out of 10 days of walking and thinking, -in homemade sandpapershoes.

A path was created in the floor by walking the same circular path endlessly, the footprints delineating the circle. The piece seems to invite the spectator, to walk in the same path and doing just that the ring offers a clear sensation of the mental condition of speculations and broodings that have created this ring -and further a sense of the reflective space which is thus created.
